Services We Cannot Provide

Limitations

We have the ability to address numerous issues; however, certain matters still necessitate an in-person appointment with a medical professional or, in specific instances, a visit to the emergency room. Please refer to the list below for an overview of conditions we are unable to manage or offer assistance with. Should our doctors be unable to provide you with assistance, there will be no charge for the consultation. In the event of a medical emergency, please dial 911.

  • Medical Emergencies

We are not equipped to address issues such as chest pain, intense abdominal pain, significant shortness of breath (excluding mild asthma), confusion, symptoms of a stroke, traumatic injuries, psychiatric emergencies, and more. If you encounter a medical emergency, please dial 911 immediately.

  • Controlled Substances & High Risk Medications

We do not have the capability to issue prescriptions for controlled substances such as barbiturates, narcotics, benzodiazepines, products containing marijuana, etc. However, we are able to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for the treatment of opioid-use disorder. Furthermore, we are unable to provide new prescriptions for higher risk conditions like acute cardiac problems, medications for transplants, 'biologicals', hormone therapy (except for birth control), and similar cases. It's important to note that we can only prescribe medication when it is deemed medically appropriate; for instance, we do not prescribe medications like Ivermectin for COVID.

  • Certain Medical Forms

Our medical professionals can furnish you with a work-related note, which may include a return-to-work declaration, as well as Documentation of Recovery. This documentation permits your return to the US following a positive COVID test after recuperation from the illness. Nonetheless, we are not able to complete various other types of legal documents, such as disability forms, workers compensation (DWC) forms, forms granting exemptions from vaccines or mask mandates, and similar forms.
