Our Founder
Founded in 2023 by Dr. Rashid Awan. Driven by his personal experiences of limited access to quality healthcare, Dr. Awan’s dedication to improving healthcare accessibility led to the creation of AwanMD. Dr. Awan completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Riverside completing a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He then stayed on to complete his graduate medical training at the same institution. From there, his interests led him to completing his residency training in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology.
